Contractor’s Notes 5-2-11

Hello Everyone,

Things are moving right along on site.

The sheetrock and Hardi backer are almost all up. The tapers are well under way.

The tiler has laid mud and is getting ready to start laying tile this week.

Ian has been working on the paneling on the back of the house as well as the window trim. Bill is priming and painting all sides of the window trim prior to installation.

Jon and Dan are working on installing the staircases.

McChord has been out to see the excavation. They are going to need to update the plans now that the ground is open and they can see all that is going on. There are only 2 cisterns, not 4 in the ground. Tom said we should see the drawings this week which will include the pumping system.

The tree has been cut and dried. George is now milling the actual door casings.

The cabinet boxes and face frames are all built. Tom is priming this week.

I have compiled LEED info for products. Barbara and Phyllis if you want to pick that up let me know. I also have the copy of Jon’s Durability Checklist. If you need me to send that to Josy I can or if you think it is best to send all of the info together, let me know.

Anthia, I do need to get the Paperstone samples and the AFM fan deck to you. Also, we need to talk about door hardware.
