The Modern Treehouse sits amongst lush meadows and mature trees. It's a bold, yet familiar design that speaks to sustainability and a sense of luxury. The house was designed with Passive House standards, including airtightness, super-insulation, fresh air heat recovery, rainwater collection, and more.

Massive curved, triple-pane curtain walls and shifting masses work together to create an architectural oeuvre. The smooth wood grain veneer contrasts with the deep textures of the shou-sugi-ban charred wood exterior siding.

Architectural details include rafter tails that soar from the roof planes, and custom scuppers that create the house’s own graceful waterfalls, making even its drainage beautiful. 

An indoor lap pool provides an aquatic escape and sunlight streams through the clerestories and skylights above.
