A forward-thinking couple approached us with their idea for a super-energy efficient renovation of a 6,000 sf Colonial Revival-style home built in 1986, which had had many additions over the years.

This project boasts a sleek modernization of both the exterior and interior of the home with a soft natural palette inspired by the clients’ Nordic style. The house was brought to a level of superb energy efficiency and livability with air-source heat pumps, ERVs, airtight design and construction, triple-pane European windows, and electric appliances.
