1960s Colonial Turned Modern Gem

A young family wanted to transform a 1960s builder colonial into a fun, modern home. New windows, siding, and a big garage workshop addition set the stage for a clean, colorful, and joyful interior. This Zero-Energy- ready house uses a quarter of the energy of its original construction.

Mid-century modern design, a love of books, cooking, and the desire for plenty of family time drove this design. Front and back porches make the house neighborhood-friendly for hosting gatherings.
